you’ve been asked, yet again, to represent yourself…
Panelist explores a practice of material piecing, contextualizing, and representation. The name plays with the daily truth that what we wear, carry, & display is…representative.
All sewn, quilted, dyed, woven, photographed, printed, or painted pieces are made by Suzie McMurtry in her studio in San Francisco. Other work can be found at suzmcm.com.
